How does Boundary police response work?

The first stage is to have your Boundary alarm system installed by an approved and accredited engineer. This is a requirement of a monitored police response alarm system to prevent false alarms. Too many false alarms to the police could result in a downgraded response and potential withdrawal of the service. Having a professionally installed system greatly reduces the chances of a false alarm.

Once the police monitoring is in place, should a triggered alarm fail to be deactivated within a prescribed amount of time then the system will automatically contact the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). They will then make further attempts to contact the keyholders of the property to verify the triggered alarm.

Should the alarm move to a second stage, i.e. more than one sensor triggered the Alarm Receiving Centre will request a police response to the property.
