Customers with monitoring and Police response
You shouldn't get tamper warnings with your sensors as they will have been installed by our team but if you do then you must not move the sensor and instead should contact the support team for help.
If you are seeing a tamper warning on the motion sensor or the door/window contact sensors then this is normally because the bracket is not making firm contact on the tamper switch on the rear of the sensor. You can see the tamper locations below:

Contact Sensor Tamper Switch
In either case, try removing the sensor from the holding bracket and check the bracket is not twisted or warped. Then replace the sensor in the bracket making sure it clicks into place and is flush around all the edges.
If this doesn't work, remove the sensor from the bracket and hold in the tamper switch with your finger. Keep it held in and try to clear the tampered message from the hub. If it still doesn't clear then there may be an issue with the tamper switch in which case you should contact support for help.
If it does clear then the problem lies with the bracket or the sensor not being seated in the bracket correctly. Make sure the screws, if you've used them, are not overtightened and the tamper peg on the bracket is making good contact with the switch.
