When pairing sensors to the central hub you may occasionally find that the sensor takes a long time to pair. This could happen for a number of reasons:
- The sensor is out of range - Move closer to the hub
- The sensor is being mounted horizontally - Try mounting vertically instead
- The battery was replaced too soon - Only replace the battery after you have scanned the QR pairing code
- The code was scanned while the battery was in place - Only replace the battery after scanning the QR code
You can cancel the pairing process at any time by tapping Cancel on the hub screen while it is including the sensor. The process will then stop and you can try again.
